  • Negotiated EPC contracts for projects in countries including India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Hungary, England and Uruguay.

  • Negotiated consortium agreements with partners from countries including Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

  • Negotiated sales agreements for capital goods to be exported to countries including Scotland, Egypt, Israel, Austria, Hong Kong, India and Saudi Arabia.

  • Negotiated operation and maintenance contracts for projects in the United Kingdom and the United States.

  • Negotiated EPC contract package for a combined-cycle independent power plant in Maharastra State, India; developed a deal structure which permitted the use of Japan Export-Import Bank credit support.

  • Negotiated EPC contract for a $1.4 billion infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia.Provided ongoing advice to a startup distributed generation developer.

  • Provided opinions of counsel in support of project financings in Kenya and Australia.

  • Advised a supplier of construction services and technology regarding transactions in Iraq and Singapore.

  • Counselled an EPC contractor in negotiations with a major renewable energy developer.

  • Negotiated equipment supply and services contracts for the largest wind farm in North America.

  • Supported the development of an offshore wind farm in Irish coastal waters.

  • Developed standardized plain-language documents to facilitate commercial objectives.

  • Developed and presented client training materials covering basic contract law and antitrust compliance.

  • Managed  response to ongoing investigations by the United States International Trade Commission regarding wind towers from China and Vietnam and polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from China.

  • Managed response to an investigation by the German Bundeskartellamt (Cartel Office), resulting in no action taken against his client.

  • Represented a solar manufacturer in an ICC arbitration arising from the purchase of silicon wafers.

  • Negotiated the restructuring of a manufacturing joint venture in Brazil, and managerd the disposition of related assets in Sweden.

  • Led the development of interactive web-based tools to guide account managers in negotiating contract provisions with customers.

  • Helped manage litigation in which portions of New York State’s Prevailing Area Wage statute were declared unconstitutional by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

  • Represented clients in administrative proceedings before state agencies in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

  • Represented a company in labor arbitration proceedings.
